ENHANCING YOUTH EMPLOYEMENT

The project addressed the challenges faced by young people during the economic crisis, when unemployment rates were at historic highs and opportunities were limited. It focused on strengthening youth employability and promoting entrepreneurship—especially social entrepreneurship as a pathway to independence, personal development, and active participation in society. Through formal, informal, and non‑formal learning, participants explored their talents, values, and career goals, developed soft and digital skills, and gained confidence to take initiative and manage risk. The project also promoted European values such as inclusion, diversity, and tolerance, encouraged the use of tools like Europass and YouthPass, and supported cultural exchange across countries. By doing so, it helped young people better understand their potential, navigate work‑related challenges, and prepare for a successful entry into the labour market.
